This is more than a Fellowship. We will produce a fully trained / educated hyperbaric practitioner with the depth and breathe of experience meeting or exceeding every other fellowship trained practitioner without the one-year off-line requirement of a traditional fellowship.
Introductory Course in Hyperbaric Medicine
40-hour introductory course of instruction
- Narcosis experience through 165 fsw dives
- Monoplace operational experience

Diving and Theoretical Discussions
40 hours of didactics
Instruction includes fitness-to-dive physical examinations and theoretical discussions about diving as it relates to:
- Technical diving
- Extended-range diving
- Saturation diving
- Diving shams and treatments
- Online and interactive pre-course work
- Exam
Safety and Technical Director Training
40 hours of didactics
Training includes:
- Hyperbaric center safety
- Technical director responsibilities
- Wound care
- Discussion of specific cases
- Online and interactive pre-course work
- Extramural exam
This combination course is taught in conjunction with the Medical Engineering Department at the University of South Florida through its online learning initiative and includes a Florida state-approved course number.
Program Manager Training and Board Exam
40 hours of didactics
Training includes:
- Hyperbaric program management
- Comprehensive board examination review
- Five-hour, 300-question exam
- Online and interactive pre-course work
